Pages and menu

Change the menu, customise the link-in-bio page, edit the legal pages and add pages of your own.

The menu

The header menu comes from nav in src/site.config.ts:

export const nav = [
  { href: '/about/', label: 'About' },
  { href: '/programs/', label: 'Programs' },
  { href: '/recipes/', label: 'Recipes' },
  { href: '/journal/', label: 'Journal' },
  { href: '/contact/', label: 'Contact' },
];

Reorder, rename or remove entries freely. The footer’s Explore links use the same list. The “Book a free call” button in the header uses bookingUrl and bookingLabel.

/links/ is made for the link in your Instagram or TikTok bio: your photo, a short bio, big buttons and your newest recipe, without the menu. Put https://yourname.com/links/ in your bio.

Edit it in links in site.config.ts:

Field What it does
bio The short line under your name. Emoji work here.
items The buttons: { label, href }. Add highlight: true to make one stand out.
showLatestRecipe true shows your newest recipe as a card.

Home page sections

The home page is built from sections in src/pages/index.astro. Reorder them by moving the lines, or delete a line to remove that section. Sections with no content hide themselves: for example, the journal section disappears when you have no posts.

src/pages/privacy.md and src/pages/disclaimer.md are templates written for a health practice. Edit them in plain Markdown, delete the note at the top, and have them checked for your country and profession. They aren’t legal advice.

Add your own page

The easiest way is a Markdown file in src/pages/ using the Page layout. For example, src/pages/faq.md:

---
layout: ../layouts/Page.astro
title: Frequently asked questions
description: Everything you need to know before booking.
eyebrow: Help
---

## How do sessions work?

...

It’s published at /faq/ with the same heading style as the other pages. Add it to nav to show it in the menu.

For a page with custom sections, copy one of the .astro pages, such as about.astro, and change it.
